Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary 

The Clinical Supervisor, Crisis Team- Rely will facilitate, coordinate and evaluate the clinical services, operation and efficiency of Rely’s services by providing supervision to assigned staff, maintaining good communication and ensuring quality of services and documentation while supporting Aspire’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Along with providing a range of responsive crisis assessments, immediate interventions, and case management services to individuals and families in the communities served by Aspire Indiana Health. The Clinical Supervisor, Crisis Team - Rely will promote collaborative working relationships with both internal and community partners. Rely will operate 24/7 (365 days/year). 

 

The Rely center is "A Safe Place for Help" which includes a Psychiatric Urgent Care for all ages and an adult 23 hour stabilization unit. The Rely Center team is for individuals who have a passion for and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, assisting individuals in mental health and/or substance use crises, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

 

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
  • Two (2) years related work experience in a crisis role; supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of community resources, referral processes and risk assessments preferred
  • Must have excellent crisis intervention/de-escalation skills 

 

Licensure

  • Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana

  • Ability to be flexible and work outside normal business hours
  • Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
  • Must have excellent collaboration, supervisory, and soft skills, such as relationship-building, communications, listening, negotiation and diplomacy
  • Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate the effective use of Aspire’s Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation to oversee programming and/or attend trainings and/or meetings
