Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The Licensed or License Eligible Therapist - Deaf Services will provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient individual, family and group therapy services to deaf, hard of hearing and deaf/blind adults, children and/or adolescents struggling with dual diagnosis, substance use disorders, mental health disorders and other behavioral health needs. Services will be provided at the Willowbrook Aspire Outpatient Office in Indianapolis and various school locations. 

 

Education/Experience/Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a directly related field required from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
  • One (1) years experience in a clinical setting working with a variety of populations required
  • Knowledge of Deaf Culture required
  • Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) 
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
  • Must have good diagnostic and treatment planning skills

Licensure

  • Must be License Eligible by the State of Indiana and actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) highly preferred
