Position Summary

This position will assess and coordinate the placement of clients in and out of the state hospitals, attend staff meetings, and function as the "gatekeeper" to the state hospital system.  This position will also assist with evaluation and treatment recommendations throughout Aspire's continuum of care.  This is a full time position with travel required, and remote work available.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
  • Two (2) years directly related experience in past professional and/or nonprofessional roles highly preferred

  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
  • Must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills and be flexible
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Must be capable of exercising good judgment in crisis situations
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have the ability to use private car to transport self and others 

 

Background Checks

Employment is contingent on background checks as required by Aspire's policies which may include: Drug Test, Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Employment Verification, Education Verification, and/or Professional References

 

Vaccinations

Vaccinations as recommended by the CDC for healthcare workers are highly preferred. Written documentation (vaccine record) or titres (blood testing) may be needed to determine immunization status.
