Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

To facilitate, coordinate and evaluate the clinical services and programs of Aspire’s Residential Treatment Facilities, by providing clinical supervision to assigned staff, maintaining good communication, assigning caseloads, and ensuring the quality of services and documentation while supporting Aspire’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. This position works collaboratively with other members of the whole health recovery team. This position carries direct service expectations.

 

  • Assist in the promotion and implementation of a “whole health” approach to services, actively valuing and integrating all aspects of this model
  • Implement evidence-based programming and provide clinical supervision of such
  • Provide regular supervision of staff and participate in coaching on assigned areas of responsibility
  • Create a work climate that emphasizes collective team performance and demonstrates Aspire’s core competencies
  • Recruit, hire, orient and train new direct reports and assist with training and orienting other facility staff
  • Evaluate performance and competency of assigned staff within required and assigned time frames and standards
  • Assess, evaluate, and provide behavioral health/substance use treatment 
  • Coordinate with clients to develop a person-centered treatment plan for services that may include medication assisted treatment
  • Provide group, individual, and/or family services
  • Actively assist, in collaboration with authorizing provider(s), in clinically evaluating appropriate ASAM levels of care and obtaining authorizations, as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with DCS/Probation contract
  • Ensure documentation quality via audit, supervision and education of assigned staff
  • Oversee clinical triage and referral, as well as crisis intervention
  • Understand and communicate all community resources available to/needed for clients

Education/Experience

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
  • Five (5) years related work experience required; supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Experience in providing residential recovery services
  • Knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (Medicaid, Social Security, Corrections, etc) highly preferred

Licensure

  • Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana
  • Additional licensure as a  Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), highly preferred
