Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Manager - Social Impact will implement day-to-day management and oversight of Social Drivers of Health (SDoH) programs (e.g. housing, employment, benefits counseling, resources, etc.) ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction for each program. This position provides leadership, direction and administrative oversight in advancing and supporting Aspire's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
- Provide oversight for assigned Social Impact services lines and provide direct supervision for assigned staff
- Provide administration, monitor, and ensure all programs are in compliance with the agencies that govern each program (e.g. Department of Housing & Urban Development - HUD, Indiana Housing Community & Development Authority - IHCDA, Vocational Rehab - VR, Social Security, etc.)
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and submitted timely for all Social Impact programs. The documentation includes but not limited to billing, progress notes, reports, metrics, and any other documentation required.
- Monitor to ensure accurate service billings (local/State/Federal agencies)
- Chair, facilitate, and participate in assigned committee meetings
- Provide assistance with annual audit as well as grant funding compliance, as needed
- Screen, interview, and make recommendations to hire new staff
- Arrange appropriate on-boarding, training, and performance reviews for staff
- Perform and evaluate staff performance and competency evaluations within required and assigned time frames and standards and provide regular coaching and feedback
- Ensure direct reports remain compliant with all annual trainings, policies, procedures, documentation and certifications, as applicable
- Provide staff training and development opportunities through coaching and mentoring, as well as, corrective action through established progressive discipline procedures
- Monitor and positively affect employee morale
- Up to 50% travel within the community
- Must be willing to work hours outside the normal 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hours work week
Education/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education with two (2) years of related experience; an Associate's Degree with with three (3) years of related experience, or a highschool diploma or equivalent with at least five (5) years of related experience required
- At least (1) year of experience leading a team required
- Healthcare and/or non-profit experience and a solid understanding of the behavioral health field highly preferred
- Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
- Must have reliable transportation to transport self and/or others, oversee programming and/or attend trainings and/or meetings
