Now interviewing for a Manager of Nursing for our Residential Facilities - based in Anderson

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.  

Position Summary 

The Manager of Nursing - Residential Facilities will oversee nursing functions at all residential locations, assuring that nursing is well integrated with the facility multidisciplinary teams.  This position demands a high level of knowledge of nursing treatment of the seriously mentally ill population, substance use disorders and recovery, psychoeducational teaching skills, safety awareness and the ability to collaborate with other treatment team members. Knowledge and experience in ICD-10, psychotropic medications, crisis & emergency interventions and infection control are needed.   

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a diploma from a two (2) year accredited nursing program required
  • One (1) year supervisory experience preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year supervised experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting highly preferred

 

License

  • Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Indiana

  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to other sites for coverage, trainings and/or meetings
