Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary 

This position is responsible for victim advocacy support and/or forensic interviews to children and families of children who are suspected of being victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or who have witnessed violent crimes.  This position will coordinate services and provide referrals when needed.  This is a full-time (40 hours/week) grant-funded position.  

 

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, education or a directly-related child development field from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education preferred
  • One (1) year of equivalent experience working with children and families required 
  • Knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (school systems, child welfare, corrections, etc.) highly preferred
