Now interviewing for an Infectious Disease Project Associate

 

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

 

Position Summary

Provide administrative support to the Infectious Disease Services Team  with day to day business functions, client relations and special projects.  Provide effective and comprehensive support to the team through ownership of multiple tasks such as scheduling, calendar management, meeting preparation, documentation, correspondence, travel and other various administrative functions.  This person will be involved in project management and organizing project data for HIV Housing, Harm Reduction, Ryan White Services, and HIV/HCV Prevention programs.  This position works closely with project and technical teams to ensure alignment on and achievement of shared deadlines and deliverables.  This is a grant-funded position and the hours for this position are dependent on funding.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare required, HIV services, Hepatitis C services; medical front office experience highly preferred
  • Must have intermediate computer skills with Google Suite
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred

  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively via phone or in person or in writing
  • Proficiency in operating Google Apps with familiarity/ability to learn Microsoft Office and other applications
