Hybrid Position - Remote/In-Person - Must live in Indiana

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary 

Aspire Indiana Health is in search of an enthusiastic and committed individual to fill the role of Employee Belonging Specialist, with a primary focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In this position, you will play a vital role in cultivating a workplace environment where every employee feels appreciated, esteemed, and empowered to leverage their distinct viewpoints and skills. The Employee Belonging Specialist will spearhead various initiatives concerning Employee Resource Groups, DEI Training, DEI Education/Programming, and DEI Communications. This role entails collaborative efforts across departments to further our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Sociology, Social Work or Psychology from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required; other degrees could be considered depending on related experience 
  • Two (2) years of specialized experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating DEI programming, preferred

  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
  • Able to work autonomously with little to no direction and consistently deliver exemplary work product
  • Able to demonstrate how their efforts positively impact the metrics established for the department in support of the organization’s annual goals and strategic plan
  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to other sites for trainings and/or meetings
