Hybrid Position - Remote/In-Person - Must live in Indiana

 

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

 

Position Summary

The 340B Program Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of ongoing operation and compliance of the 340B program, as well as responsible for the implementation of 340B expansion strategies for the agency.  This is a hybrid position that will work mostly remote, but may need to occasionally travel to various Aspire Offices, as needed 

 

Key responsibilites include, but are not limited to: 

  • Supervise and direct the activity of the 340B Program Coordinators to ensure all required ongoing operational and compliance activities are completed per HRSA guidelines and Aspire’s approved policies and procedures.
  • Within the 340B program, evaluate opportunities for cost savings and business improvements and oversee implementation of strategies to address those opportunities
  • Within the 340B program, evaluate opportunities for cost savings and system improvements to yield higher compliance and oversee implementation of strategies to address those opportunities
  • Analyze utilization of the program and software to identify ways to compliantly use the 340B Program to its fullest extent to meet the needs of underserved patients and develop/propose strategies to achieve that goal
  • In collaboration with the Manager of Business Strategy, ensure that policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and maintained according to organizational, state, and federal requirements and guidelines and are approved by all appropriate parties
  • Responsible for ensuring that the annual HRSA recertification is completed within the allowable time frame
  • Review and serve as the point of contact for negotiating new or renewing 340B contracts
  • Maintain all 340B contracts and review at regular intervals

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, healthcare administration, or pharmacy administration or other related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education plus one (1) year of related work experience OR an Associates degree in business, administration, healthcare administration, or pharmacy administration or other related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education plus three (3) years related work experience required
  • Previous experience leading a team or serving in a supervisory role strongly preferred
  • Previous work experience with the 340B program strongly preferred
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare/pharmacy administration setting preferred
