Hybrid Position - In-Person/Remote

Must live in Indiana

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The Career Pathing Specialist will work with the Senior Director- Staff Training and Career Excellence to develop a robust Career Pathing program for all Aspire employees.  This position will develop a career pathing strategy and will work with human resources and recruiting and retention staff  to create a roadmap for career paths as a trajectory towards career excellence for all Aspire staff.  The Career Pathing Specialist engages in proactive, systematic outreach to Aspire staff to solicit and develop employee interest in advancing their careers at Aspire; serves as a guide, support and resource in the identification of career objectives; aids in the development of career advancement and professional development plans; and assists with the steps necessary to attain to the employee's vocational goals. This position assists in identifying internal professional development opportunities available through Aspire, and will work with both clinical and nonclinical positions to identify external certifications, training, and education necessary to advance within one's career. This position will maintain connection with employees throughout the pathing process and will check in periodically with the employee to monitor their progress while offering ongoing coaching and support. This position provides direction and administrative oversight in advancing and supporting Aspire's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. 

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education required
• At least 2 years experience in career pathing, employee engagement, human resources, recruiting or related field required
• Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills, preferably with Google
• Healthcare and/or non-profit experience preferred

• Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skills
• Must have reliable transportation to attend trainings and/or meetings
