Now interviewing for a Residential Recovery Admissions Technician position for our Mockingibird Hill location!

Must live in Indiana

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

 

Position Summary

The Residential Recovery Admissions Technician sets the stage for an exceptional resident experience by welcoming new admissions, establishing rapport, orienting them to the facility, introducing staff, explaining the expectations of the program, and completing the admissions process.  As a member of the Residential Recovery Team, this position will provide a strength-based approach in assisting the client in connecting with recovery community supports and community resources upon discharge and in providing coverage for Residential Recovery Technicians. 

 

Education and Experience 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a residential or inpatient setting required
  • Certification as Peer Addiction Recovery Coach highly preferred
  • Knowledge in addiction and how addiction impacts an individual and their family highly preferred
  • Knowledge of child welfare and/or probation services preferred
  • Trained in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care preferred

  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting

  • Must be able to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgment and following Aspire protocols
  • Seek guidance and direction proactively to facilitate the successful completion of all job duties
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective conflict-resolution and communication skills
  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation to transport self/others and to attend trainings and/or meeting
