Now interviewing for a Quality and Population Data Analyst

Position is Hybrid - Remote with some on-site requirements

 

Must live in Indiana

 

 

Position Summary 

The Quality and Population Health Data Analyst will orient front line staff and prescribers to new clinical workflows designed to improve the quality and care of patients based on key metrics utilized for data collection. This position will educate and implement quality and population health initiatives as set forth by Aspire Leadership and the quality committee under the supervision of the Director of Quality.  This goal oriented position will drive aggressive quality toward Primary Care and Community Mental Health initiatives throughout the organization and will be key in a future value based payment system. This position will be an expert in the key components of providing value including positioning Aspire toward continuity of care by use of data and social determinants of health. This position will promote the direction and expectations set forth by the quality committee, in conjunction with the administration of Aspire Indiana, and enhance the development of a culture of integrated care.

 

Education and Experience

  • Nursing degree from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education preferred; or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a directly-related human service field, or a data analytics related degree from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education required
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in care plans/quality improvement/care coordination; or two (2) years electronic medical records, analytics, chronic care, database experience required
  • Advanced use of google products including, Docs, Slides, Sites, Sheets, etc (including visualizations) for data reporting is highly preferred
  • Experience in Electronic health record report running and data extraction methods highly preferred
  • Experience in working in an integrated health system is highly preferred
  • Value Based Payment experience, a plus
  • Behavioral Health experience, a plus  

 

Skills

  • Knowledge at the level of advanced statistical methods related to data analysis 
  • Ability to educate and clearly explain medical terminology to non-medical individuals driving quality for the organization and present findings, as such
  • Data management skills requiring the ability to produce and utilize computer generated reporting, electronically combining data from various sources and validate and identify gaps among and within data sources
  • Must be familiar with UDS reporting with a focus on initiatives to improve these outcomes

 

License

  • If LPN or RN, must have active license in the State of Indiana

  • Must have reliable transportation to attend trainings and/or meetings
