Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The Accreditation & Licensure Specialist will implement and maintain all aspects of accreditation, certifications, and licensure for Aspire Indiana Health (Aspire).  This includes, but is not limited to:  Joint Commission Accreditation, Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) designations and certifications, Division of Mental Health and Addiction licensing and certifications, and corresponding site visits, evaluations and follow-up responding.  This position will work collaboratively with all Aspire Management roles to ensure ongoing attention to and compliance with Aspire’s multiple accreditations, certifications and licensure.  

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Health Information Management or directly-related field accredited by the US Department of Education required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Two (2) years experience in managing and coordinating accreditation standards, federal, state, local rules and regulations relative to corporate compliance efforts required
  • Experience in working in an integrated health system is highly preferred
  • Advanced use of google products including, Docs, Slides, Sites, and Sheets (including visualizations) for data reporting is highly preferred

  • Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skills
